Kathryn Nicholson is a dynamic conductor and an irrepressible spirit who inspires choir and audience members alike with her joy and enthusiasm.  As an accredited music therapist, she has often witnessed and experienced the extraordinary power of singing to promote health, healing and happiness!

Kathryn has sung with the Canadian Opera Company Chorus, Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, National Arts Centre Cantata Singers and Pandora's Vox women's ensemble.  She has an extensive background in choral conducting and was a vocal instructor at Capilano College.

Kathryn has a Masters Degree in Music Therapy and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She currently works part-time in family counselling and program development at Canuck Place Children's Hospice in Vancouver.
