The Universal Gospel Choir is proud to raise funds for Coldest Night of the Year in support of FIRST UNITED Church Community Ministry Society. For over 140 years, FIRST UNITED has served low-income, underhoused, and homeless individuals in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with compassion, dignity, and care.

This cause reflects who we are as a choir. Rooted in the tradition of gospel as both song and action, we believe in showing up for our community — not only with our voices, but with our feet, our hearts, and our collective commitment to justice and love.
